Cousins

The St. Louis Pruntys were in town tonight on their way to some activities and events up north on the weekend. We had fun playing and wanted to get one good picture of the four cousins for Pops' picture frame. Here are a few cute ones...
MoMo led a dance party and freeze contest...

These boys have some moves!
Nolan enjoyed his visit with his cousins!

Valentine Cookie Baker

We decided to make some homemade heart sugar cut-out cookies today. Nolan put on his apron and was ready to work.He was ready to eat powdered sugar, too!

We chilled the dough for a few hours and then started working.

Nolan took his cookie jobs very seriously! We had so much fun!

KidsWork Children's Museum

We went to the KidsWork Children's Museum in Frankfort today. Nolan loved the 911 Call Center and the dispatcher office.
He played at the vet clinic.
He dug for dinosaur bones.
Nolan was the ticket sales guy at the theater.
We had so much fun in the light house. It was dark inside, and we used these light pens to make shapes, letters, pictures, etc.
Nolan made a valentine in the art center and loved using "fancy scissors."
He played at the train table.
He had fun with the trucks and "guys."

Nolan experimented with magnets and microscopes.
He went back to the dispatcher desk.
He was a firefighter/construction worker.
We had lots of fun inside on a cold, snowy day!

Imagination...

Nolan loves to play and has a great imagination! His pilot, Arty, had an emergency and hurt his knee. He had to go to the hospital for four weeks.
He took the elevator up to the second floor of the hospital.

The ambulance helped save the day!

We used a bean bag as a "stretcher bed" for Arty as the doctor and surgeon carefully placed him in the ambulance.
Pretend play is so much fun!

Just Playing...

Nolan and I have had a blast playing inside during these cold winter days. He LOVES pretend playing and takes on many roles during the day. He is a train conductor. We set-up a whole city with a racetrack, construction vehicles/workers, firefighters, police officers, an ice cream shop, a train station, lawn care company, etc.

He is a fireman...someone always needs to be rescued!
He is a paramedic and loves putting "guys" in the ambulance on the stretcher bed.
Nolan has been into playing "TSA worker guy" since our recent trip to DC. He uses his bins to check shoes, keys, change, cell phones, etc. before walking through security.
He is also a checker.
Nolan is a doctor, too!
Nolan's conductor hat serves many purposes and is worn all day long! He loves to play, and we have so much fun together!

Valentine Maker...

Nolan held a marker, colored pencil, crayon, etc. with his ear while he created. He is hilarious!

We had so much fun making lots of different hearts today!
