Big Boy Room

We finally finished Nolan's new room after waiting for bedding to arrive. We went to Home Goods to find some fun accessories, and we proudly present Nolan's big boy room!

Imagination

Nolan is the imagination king! He made a UPS distribution center and airport with his guys and trucks. He made Prentice Women's Hospital where he was born and added a bright light on top for the helicopter landing pad on a foggy night.

He had a few parades, complete with parade-goers.

He had a fire truck parade.

His imagination is unbelievable, and he amazes me with what he comes up with. Nolan loves to play, play, play!

Snowmen!

Our snow is finally packing snow, so we spent the afternoon and early evening outside making some snowmen and a hill. Nolan loves the snow so much and is never ready to go back inside. He always tells me he just wants to stay outside for a couple more hours!

Chef Nolan helped make a warm dinner after a warm bath when he reluctantly came in from outside at 5:30 p.m.

More Snow

We had fun at our Moms and Tots class yesterday morning and then had an appointment in Skokie. We were stuck in the snowstorm and it took 3 1/2 hours to get home! It was dangerous driving, and we were so glad to pull into our driveway. We had a quick dinner and then Nolan couldn't wait to see "the biggest snow of his whole life!"

Let's Go, BU!

We went to the Butler-UIC basketball game tonight at UIC. We had lots of fun and the Bulldogs came out on top! Nolan loved the game, cheered for the Dawgs and brought his two bulldogs, Butler and Wrinkles for extra good luck. Go, go BU!

Sledding!

Nolan wants to live outside in the snow! He just loves it! We went sledding yesterday for about three hours and had so much fun riding the hills!

Nolan wants the snow to stay forever! He wakes up in the morning and looks out the front windows to make sure it is still there...and then asks when we can go outside to play!

More Snow Fun

Chef Nolan helped make some cookies for our neighbors who snowplowed our driveway and sidewalk. Then, we headed out for more fun in the snow!
