Play Day

Nolan loves having his guys at breakfast and enjoys ordering food for them.
After breakfast, we played and then went to the Beverly Arts Center to see Sleeping Beauty.
We went to Snackville Junction for lunch after the play (after a trip to Borders for a few sale items).

Nolan and I had the best day together! We have so much fun!

The Boss

We had dinner at Pops and MoMo's house last night. Pops wanted to finish his workout, and Nolan wanted to go downstairs when he heard "The Boss." So, we all went downstairs and Nolan started singing and dancing. Then, he needed a guitar. MoMo made one using a broom and some ribbon. A few minutes later, Nolan said that he needed a microphone and ran to the toy closet to get the "Whack A Mole" stand for the game. It was hilarious! Pops played the sax!

He took a workout break, too.

Nolan brought two chairs over to have drums...just like the drummer in the band!

Nolan LOVES the boss! Pops may have a new concert partner!
Enjoy "The Boss" live!

STOP!

Nolan really loved the STOP sign at Jack's birthday party. So, our Uncle Tim and MoMo put together this awesome sign so that Nolan could be a traffic cop! He LOVES it! Uncle Tim made the sign, and MoMo painted it. Nolan sure is one lucky little boy!

Thanks Uncle Tim and MoMo for your teamwork on this perfect new addition to our pretend play accessories! We will put it to great use!

Snow is Gone...For Now!

We took advantage of our decent temperatures and played outside for awhile today!

It is hard to believe that we had huge drifts and an unbelievable amount of snow just a few short weeks ago. Spring may be just around the corner, but we may get a bit more snow before our next season starts! It sure was nice to play outside today!

Librarian and Indoor Sled

Nolan told me he was a librarian today as he checked in some of his books.

Then, he went sledding down the stairs.

He has such a fun imagination!

Toy Story 3 on Ice

Nolan and I went to Toy Story 3 on Ice at the United Center this morning.

Nolan loved the show and wanted to see it again when it was all over!
To infinity and beyond!
Thanks for the treat, Aunt Mar and Uncle Ron! We loved it!

Jack's Birthday Weekend in St. Louis

We flew to St. Louis this weekend for Jack's birthday party. Nolan was ready to hail a taxi at the airport.
The boys enjoyed a snack with Pops.
Pops and MoMo led a big dance party!
Jack, Nolan and Henry are good buddies.
Gracie was all smiles and is so adorable!
Nolan and Pops watched "the Boss" in concert in their hats.
Henry and Nolan played trains all weekend.
Jack's birthday party was on Saturday morning at the Creation Station at The Museum of Transportation.
Gracie looked super cute in her pink headband!
Nolan drove the big ship.
There were lots of trains!
The boys enjoyed the Toy Story 3 cake!
Nolan loved being a police officer with the STOP sign...he wore that outfit from the beginning of the party until the end. He pretended to be the traffic cop from Frosty!
Henry and Nolan played doctor and checked Pops to be sure he is healthy.
Here is a group shot on the big ship.
There were lots of trucks, blocks, houses, etc. Nolan was in heaven!
We checked out the cars in the museum after the party...this one looks like Flo from Cars!
Henry and Nolan went back to playing trains after the party.
MoMo made a girl train with Rosie, Lady and their girlfriends...the boys thought that was really funny!
We had a movie and sleepover on Saturday night.

The boys looked so cute in their sleeping bags and blankets.

We flew home today, and Nolan crashed on the airplane after his long weekend of playing with his cousins. He was so sad to leave, and we look forward to our next visit!
Happy 4th Birthday, Jackie! We had fun celebrating with you!
